The competition was no different than usual at Gordyville Breeders Classic, tough and dirt slidin' gritty. For the second year in a row a Caballo Rojo Ranch mare was high point mare in the Open to the World Derby and the Breeder's Cup. Sam Smith showed Stun Gun to top honors taking the championship in the Intermediate Open and placed third in the Open Division, taking home a pay check worth over $10,000.00.

Caballo Rojo Ranch mares really made a great showing at the Gordyville Breeder's Classic. Taking home over $23,000.00 in prize money between the three mares, Guaranteed By Amos was shown by her owner, Victoria Lambert and she was honored to take home the Reserve Championship in the Intermediate Non Pro.

2009 NRBC Non Pro Classic
Carl and Victoria Lambert once again made finals at the NRBC in the Non Pro Division. This was the first time that Carl Lambert showed his beautiful mare USS Nu Chex and he was thrilled to make ALL the Non Pro finals. Victoria Lambert was riding Dunit Pistol Pete, a 2004 gelding that she showed at the NRHA Futurity in 2008. The couple tied in the first go to score a 215.5, which secured their place in the finals.
