About Tuscany Farms...Tuscany Farms is located in Queen Creek, Arizona, 40 miles southeast of the Phoenix Sky Harbor International airport.  The ranch is owned by Shirley and David Acedo and their four children.  Shirley is a fourth-generation cattle rancher originating from central Africa.  The ranch in Zambia was world renowned for its Boran cattle genetics with quite a few embryos being exported to Australia.  The herd consisted of over 2,000 mother cows grazing on 10,000 acres of grassland.  Shirley continued the family tradition with Brahman cattle when she immigrated to America in 1979. 

The Acedo's have a dairy farm with 500 milking Holsteins in addition to the registered herd of Brahman cattle.  They also have 320 acres in Wilcox Arizona where they run a golden certified F1 program utilizing registered Hereford cows with Brahman bulls. The ranch is managed by the family with Shirley doing all the reproductive work herself including embryo transfer and pregnancy palpations.  The herd is genetically based with V8 and Hudgins bloodlines and the show string has consistently placed at the top at shows all the way from Cow Palace in San Francisco to the west and Lake Charles Louisiana to the east. Come out to Arizona and visit the ranch and have a taste of some organic milk from the dairy!!!!!
