+BNA Double Take Manso 229/8 was bred by Barney and LaNel Allen of Franklin, Texas. Heritage Cattle Company purchased a 50% breeding interest in Double Take when he was 7 months old.
+Double Take 229/8 was Calf Champion at his first show, The A&M Kick Off Classic, at the age of 10 months. Following the A&M show, Double Take remained undefeated in his class and division at all major livestock Shows.
He added several Grand Champion titles to his show career including the 2001 International Grand Champion Bull in Houston, Texas. Since that time his semen has sold world-wide and many ranches have benefited greatly from his sons and daughters.
In the United States his offspring have captured more than two hundred first place wins and over one hundred championship honors.
Most noteable progeny wins include 2003 Reserve National Champion Bull, 2004 International Grand Champion Cow, 2005 Brahman Show Cow of the Year, and 2005 Brahman Show Bull of the Year.
