1.31.09 - SAM SMITH IS SMOKING HOT ON STUN GUN AT THE HOT WINTER SLIDE OPEN DERBY!

Sam Smith and Stun Gun, owned by Victoria Lambert, were stars at the 2009 HOT Winter Slide Derby, held in Waco, Texas. Besting a field of great horses and riders, Sam Smith won the Open Derby and Intermediate Open Derby with a smoking score of 150. Sam and Stun Gun, a Gunner mare out of Sugar Baby Whiz, toppled some great horses and riders in the industry.  

3.20.09 - SAM SMITH REPEATS A GREAT RUN ON STUN GUN TO WIN THE INTERMEDIATE OPEN DERBY AT GORDYVILLE

Sam Smith had another great run on Stun Gun, a 5 year old Gunner mare owned by Victoria Lambert. Sam and this great mare teamed up earlier in the year to win the HOT Winter Slide Derby. With a great score of 221.5, Sam and Stun Gun easily won the Intermediate Open Breeders Cup and Open to the World Derby. They also took home third place honors in the Open Breeders Cup and Open to the World Derby. Gordyville has always been a place that Sam has enjoyed showing at and taking home over $10,000 in winnings on Stun Gun made it that much more fun to be at this great event.
